We&#8217;ll be awaiting you at the <a href=\"https:\/\/company.sbb.ch\/en\/sbb-as-business-partner\/services\/centre-loewenberg.html\">Centre Loewenberg<\/a>, a newly-renovated and modernised campus situated in a quiet park. The complex offers conference and exhibition rooms as well as catering and accommodation facilities. The entire WordCamp can therefore take place on the same site, where you can also <a href=\"https:\/\/switzerland.wordcamp.org\/2023\/accommodation\/\">stay overnight<\/a> if you&#8217;d like. The large light-flooded &#8220;Aquarium&#8221; hall (for 200 people) offers three large screens so that the presentations can be optimally viewed from all seats. The &#8220;Aula&#8221;, with its tiered seating, can hold up to 128 people. class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The venue is entirely accessible to people in a wheelchair. The main entrance and the restaurant are at ground level with no steps, and the 2 conference rooms can be accessed by elevator; the Aula room has steps but offers space at ground level, at the top of the hall. Toilets and hotel rooms are also accessible to wheelchairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A checkmark question in the ticketing form asks if you have a special need; no one specified any need (at the time of ticket closing), but if you require anything, please <a href=\"https:\/\/switzerland.wordcamp.org\/2023\/contact\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"17\">get in touch with us<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the event, you can always come to the registration desk or staff members and ask if you need a quiet room; we will allow you to access the green room. We recommend that you arrive <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sbb.ch\/en\/home.html\">by train<\/a> if you can. The <a href=\"https:\/\/company.sbb.ch\/en\/sbb-as-business-partner\/services\/centre-loewenberg.html\">Centre Loewenberg<\/a> is two hours from Geneva, Zurich or Basel. The <a href=\"https:\/\/company.sbb.ch\/en\/sbb-as-business-partner\/services\/centre-loewenberg.html\">Centre Loewenberg<\/a> is adjacent to the <strong>Muntelier L\u00f6wenberg<\/strong> train station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-border-color has-primary-border-color has-background-background-color has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\" style=\"border-width:5px;padding-top:1rem;padding-right:1rem;padding-bottom:1rem;padding-left:1rem\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Important notes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The S5 train from Bern is in <strong>two sections<\/strong>, which separate in <strong>Kerzers<\/strong>. One section of the train goes to Neuch\u00e2tel and one goes to Murten. Make sure you get on the right part of the train: you need to head towards Murten! If you find yourself in the wrong part of the train en route, you can change (quickly!) when the train arrives in Kerzers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Note that the train only stops at the <strong>Muntelier L\u00f6wenberg<\/strong> station <strong>on request<\/strong>, so make sure you press the button by the doors on the train in plenty of time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are coming from Neuch\u00e2tel: Swiss Railways just announced maintenance work on the line S20-S21 from Ins to Murten, so you&#8217;ll have to take a replacement bus or train via Kerzers. Make sure and take the <strong>S5<\/strong> train heading for <strong>Murten<\/strong>: the S5 is formed of two sections which <strong>separate at Kerzers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">From Geneva<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take the train from Geneva towards <strong>Neuch\u00e2tel<\/strong>, then change to the Interregio train to <strong>Kerzers<\/strong>. Change here and head towards <strong>Murten<\/strong>: Muntelier L\u00f6wenberg is the second station; one stop before Murten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">From Zurich<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take the Intercity from Z\u00fcrich Hauptbahnhof as far as the main station in Bern (1h), then follow the directions from Bern. The parking is located about 300 meters away from the Conference Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Centre Loewenberg is just a couple of minutes&#8217; drive from the <strong>Murten\/Morat exit on the A1 motorway<\/strong>, heading west from Bern. Coming from Bern, head towards Murten once you leave the motorway and turn right at the first roundabout (just after McDonald&#8217;s). Coming from Lausanne-Yverdon, follow Bern and take the Murten\/Morat exit.
