Be a speaker at WordCamp Switzerland!

In two weeks, we’ll have reached the end of September – which means it’s your last chance to sign up as a speaker for WordCamp Switzerland 2027, which will take place on 6 March 2027 at the Loewenberg Centre in Murten.

Do you work for an agency, or are you a freelancer? Are you a development expert, or simply a casual WordPress user with a great experience to share? Whatever your professional background or degree of expertise, WordCamps welcomes speakers of all levels, ready to address either a seasoned audience or attendees taking their first steps with WordPress. The main objective is that you’ve got something to share, whether through a standard talk (30 minutes), a lightning talk (10 minutes), or a workshop (90 minutes). You’ll find ideas of topics to cover in our Call for Speakers, but we’re of course open to all suggestions!

Switzerland is a multilingual country, so speakers can present their topics in French, German, Italian, or, of course, English. The community gathering in Murten for WordCamp Switzerland is just as diverse, attracting WordPress enthusiasts from Switzerland’s neighbouring countries and beyond. The beautiful setting, straddling the language border between French- and German-speaking Switzerland, along with the Loewenberg Centre’s easy accessibility by train or car, certainly helps draw such international interest. There’s also the option to stay overnight (at a reasonable price!) in the hotel within the Loewenberg Centre complex.

So, have you made a note of the deadline? Register here by Wednesday 30 September to submit your topic!
