Are you planning to join us next spring in Murten for WordCamp Switzerland 2027? It’s never too early to secure your spot, especially as we’re still offering a limited number of “Early Bird” tickets at a preferential rate this autumn! Once this quota is sold out, tickets will switch to the standard rate, which remains very affordable. Those wishing to stay overnight can already book their rooms (see below).
WordCamp Switzerland 2027 will once again take place at the Centre Loewenberg, a former training centre of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB CFF FFS) now converted into a seminar and event venue. Located on the outskirts of the charming town of Murten, right on the language border between French- and German-speaking Switzerland, this site has plenty to offer!
Nestled in a beautiful green setting, the Centre Loewenberg features lovely conference and meeting rooms in its main building, as well as open spaces for sponsors and informal networking. Directly opposite stands the restaurant, which will host the WordPress community for meals, along with a bar and a basement lounge area for the after-party.
On-site hotel
Planning to spend one or two nights in Murten? No problem: the Centre Loewenberg also offers on-site accommodation. The rooms, housed in distinctive round buildings, boast a unique “slice-of-cake” shape. A selection of these has already been pre-reserved for WordCamp Switzerland 2027 participants. To book a room (for one or two people), simply email loewenberg@sbb.ch or call +41 51 285 74 11, mentioning that your stay is for WordCamp Switzerland 2027. Payment will be made directly on site.
To wrap up, the Centre Loewenberg has its own railway station (Muntelier-Löwenberg) and a spacious car park.
