Schedule published

We are delighted to announce to you the official schedule of this Switzerland WordCamp edition.

We have received over 38 submissions from 32 different people, so we had to make choices focusing on having the best attendee’s experience possible.

So you know how we, the organizing team, made the selection in a democratic and equal way:

  • Submissions have been anonymized to allow voting for best submissions based only on provided titles and descriptions. Each organizer had as many votes as session’s slots.
  • Ordering by most voted submissions, the team discovered all submission details such as names, languages and gender. This facilitated submissions selection depending on multiple criterias:
    • We wanted diversity on kind of topics, not too many developer or SEO talks.
    • We needed to have a nice ratio between submission’s languages, but mostly english because it’s the most universal language
    • There was no need to force a nice gender ratio, things were made by itself.
  • Then debating and validating the whole schedule

Aside note, we didn’t get enough workshop submissions to have a dedicated track as we originally planned to.

Now you don’t have any more excuses for not getting your ticket and joining the party!
