Great news: registration for WordCamp Switzerland is officially open!
A Swiss WordCamp? Absolutely! Just like in 2023, we’re returning to the same location, straddling the linguistic border between French-speaking and German-speaking Switzerland. The Loewenberg Centre, situated just outside the charming town of Murten (or Morat in French), is the perfect venue for this event. It offers all the necessary conference rooms, a spacious area for sponsors, an on-site restaurant for lunch and dinner, and affordable hotel accommodation. Rooms have already been reserved especially for us!
What’s more, the centre is conveniently located right next to a train station (Muntelier-Löwenberg) and a motorway exit (No. 29 on the E25), and naturally provides ample parking. So you’ll find everything you need here, whether you’re travelling from Geneva (under two hours by train via Neuchâtel), Paris (4h47 by TGV), or Milan (4h30 by car).
We plan to provide English, French, German, and Italian translation services for all talks, making this WordCamp truly inclusive for everyone, whether you’re joining us from Switzerland or abroad. In doing so, we’re embracing a quintessentially Swiss motto: “a community united across languages”.
